Where can I put this? In a medium to bright position indoors or in part to full sun outdoors. Tolerates partial shade.
How often do I water it? When the top couple inches or soil mix gets dry when in a pot and as needed until established if outside. Drought tolerant.
What should I use to repot it? Well-drained soil mix with added sand.
When do I fertilize it? Two or three times a year with a slow release fertilizer or a specialized palm fertilizer
Other information: Older pygmy date palms don’t like being transplanted, so as they get older, plant in a larger heavy pot.
