Geotextile fabric, also known as landscape fabric, geofabrics (geo fabric), filter fabric, is a water-permeable geosynthetic material.

This non-woven, needle-punched fabric is ideal for use in soil stabilization and separation. The fabric works as a stabilizing force to prevent soil shifts or movements in excavated areas such as roads, sidewalks, and embankments. The fabric also helps prevent soil damage when placed around drainage pipes, retaining walls, and other buried or exposed fixtures.
